Newly appointed Kampala City Council Authority FC coach, Morley Byekwaso, has unveiled the nine-member team that he will be working with at the club.

Byekwaso is contracted to the Kampala-based team until July 2024 and has immediately set about working on improving on the fourth-place finish the club had in the abruptly ended 2020/21 season.

Malinga Richard and Saka Mpiima, former KCCA FC players and captains will work as Assistant Coaches. Richard will be the head coach of the junior team with Mpiima assisting him. Kaddu Badru Mukasa is the second-in-command for Morley’s ship and will be working closely with Mpiima and Richard.

The club has appointed Byekwaso’s former colleague, Felix Ayobo as the new Head of Fitness and Conditioning. Ayobo and Byekwaso worked together at the U20 Africa Cup of Nations.

Oloya Moses retains his job as the Goalkeeper Coach. Team doctor, Ivan Ssewanyana remains in the team while Emmanuel Tussubira continues as the physiotherapist. Walugembe Fahad Yahaya is the Head of Scouting.

Uganda is currently on lockdown and all football activities have been stopped.
