Kaizer Chiefs defender, Reeve Frosler has called for patience as the club looks to dig itself out of a slump and get back to winning ways.

“The season is long. The season is thirty games not five games, just got to be patient and getting the small things right. Eventually we will add all the small things together and get better, hopefully we’ll perform at our best again soon,” Frosler explained ahead of Amakhosi’s league game away to AmaZulu.

Chiefs currently sit in 13th position on the DSTV Premiership log with five points from five games. This is not where the Amakhosi faithful would have hoped to be after the return of Scotsman Stuart Baxter as head coach. At the very least, Chiefs would have expected to be a lot closer than eight points to rivals Mamelodi Sundowns.

Frosler admits he has not seen a lot of AmaZulu recently but is looking forward to another interesting game.

“I haven’t seen much of them this season but for what we know about AmaZulu, they’re not a bad team. They did well, they are in the Champions League. It will be another interesting game for us come Saturday afternoon,” noted the right back.

The DSTV Premiership game is scheduled for 3 pm on Saturday at the Jonsson Kings Park Stadium in Durban.
