MTN8 Semi-Final Tickets on Sale as Final Spots Go Up for Grabs

The race for the 2026 MTN8 final is entering its decisive stage, with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) confirming that tickets for the semi-final fixtures are now officially on sale.

Fans can purchase tickets for R100 at Open Tickets outlets nationwide, including Shoprite, Checkers and USave stores. Tickets are also available online through Open Tickets.

Four teams remain in contention for the first major cup final of the 2026/27 season, with Sekhukhune United, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns and Lamontville Golden Arrows set to battle over two legs.

Sekhukhune and Pirates open semi-final battle

The first semi-final gets underway on Saturday, 22 August, when Sekhukhune United host defending champions Orlando Pirates at Old Peter Mokaba Stadium.

Kick-off is scheduled for 15h00, with the home side looking to establish an advantage before the return fixture in Soweto.

The second semi-final first leg follows on Sunday, 23 August, when Mamelodi Sundowns welcome Lamontville Golden Arrows to Lucas Moripe Stadium.

That match will also kick off at 15h00.

Everything decided the following weekend

The semi-finalists will meet again the following weekend, with the finalists determined over the two legs.
