Following a goalless opening half, Queen Joseph put Nigeria ahead in the 55th minute.
Bashiru doubled the advantage in the 71st minute before scoring again nine minutes later, leaving Brazil facing a three-goal deficit.
Greise pulled one back in the 89th minute, but the late response could not prevent Nigeria from advancing.
The victory follows the Flamingos’ narrow quarter-final success against Venezuela and puts them one match away from the world title.
Against Brazil, Nigeria turned a balanced scoreline at the interval into a commanding lead, with Joseph’s breakthrough opening the way for Bashiru’s decisive brace.
Japan now stand between the Flamingos and the trophy.
