Yet another Angolan player has joined Kampala City Council Authority Football Club, KCCA FC. 25-year-old Ettiene Katenga is now a Yellow after signing a two-year contract.
Katenga joins fellow countrymen Emilson Gonzaga and Cungulo Da Silva ahead of the 2023/4 Uganda Premier League. Coach Sergio Daniel Traguil has made five signings so far, including Brazilians Joao Gabriel and Vinicius Michael, as he bolsters the former league champions.
Ettienne Katenga, an attacking midfielder who played for Asa FC, Saurimo, and CD Lunda Sul, is looking forward to his time in Kampala.
“This is a club with a great history and tradition, and I’m excited to be a part of it. I know that I’m joining a team of great players, and I’m looking forward to working with them and helping the team achieve success,” Katenga told KCCA FC’s official website.
KCCA FC is looking to wreslte the league title back from Vipers SC and get back to playing in the CAF Champions League.
