CAF Snares Another Sponsor as Morocco Now Hops on Board for AFCON 2025

The Confédération Africaine de Football (CAF) has officially confirmed a major commercial partnership ahead of the TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) Morocco 2025, with Morocco Now, the Kingdom’s national economic brand, announced as an Official Sponsor of the tournament.

CAF President Dr Patrice Motsepe and Mr Ali Seddik, Director General of the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), finalized the agreement during a signing ceremony held in Rabat.

The high-profile event was attended by Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) President and CAF First Vice-President Faouzi Lekjaa, as well as CAF General Secretary Véron Mosengo-Omba, underlining the strategic importance of the partnership to both African football and Morocco’s global positioning.

Under the agreement, Morocco Now will leverage the AFCON platform to promote the Kingdom as a modern, ambitious and forward-looking destination for investment, trade and tourism. The TotalEnergies CAF Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 will take place from 21 December 2025 to 18 January 2026, featuring 24 national teams competing across nine stadiums in six Moroccan cities.

The tournament is expected to be one of the most spectacular editions in AFCON history, benefiting from Morocco’s modern stadiums, transport infrastructure and proven track record of successfully hosting major international events.
