Cameroon Abolishes Two Stream League
Cameroon has done away with the two-stream Elite One league stream. FECAFOOT, the Cameroon FA, announced that the championship games will be played at neutral venues in a bid to end the season on time.
The stadiums that hosted the recently ended 2021 Africa Cup of Nations in Limbe, Bafoussam, Douala and Yaounde will be used for league matches. Cameroon football is seeing sweeping changes under new FECAFOOT president, Samuel Eto’o with minimum salaries being set and the football federation now covering transports costs for clubs.
