The 2025/26 Carling Knockout is officially underway, with the Premier Soccer League (PSL) confirming the full schedule for the competition’s Round of 16 following this week’s draw.
Fans can look forward to a jam-packed weekend of football between 3–5 October 2025, as teams across the country battle for a coveted place in the quarterfinals.
Durban City Set to Make Their Debut
The first whistle of the tournament will blow at Chatsworth Stadium on Friday, 3 October, when Carling Knockout debutants Durban City FC host Polokwane City in the opening clash under the lights. Kick-off is at 19h00.
Saturday Showdowns
Saturday, 4 October, promises wall-to-wall action with four matches lined up. The day begins with a double header at 15h00:
- Orlando Pirates face Siwelele FC at Orlando Stadium.
- Orbit College FC square off against TS Galaxy FC at Olympia Park Stadium.
Later, Golden Arrows welcome Sekhukhune United at King Zwelithini Stadium (18h00), before the spotlight shifts to Lucas Moripe Stadium for the evening’s headline clash: Mamelodi Sundowns versus Marumo Gallants at 20h00.
Sunday Clashes
The round concludes on Sunday, 5 October, with three mouthwatering encounters. At 15h00, Richards Bay FC take on Chippa United at Umhlathuze Sports Stadium, while Stellenbosch FC renew hostilities with Kaizer Chiefs at DHL Stadium.
The defending champions Magesi FC will then begin their title defence against AmaZulu FC at Moses Mabhida Stadium, with kick-off scheduled for 17h30.
