For the 32 clubs involved across the two competitions, Wednesday’s draw will reveal the opponents standing between them and a place in the knockout rounds.
The group stages are scheduled to begin in November 2026.
With preliminary-round qualification concluded, attention now shifts to how the groups will take shape and which clubs will find themselves facing some of the continent’s toughest opposition.
The Champions League remains CAF’s premier club competition, while the Confederation Cup offers another major route to continental silverware for clubs across Africa.
Draw Available Live
Supporters will be able to follow both draws live through CAF’s official digital platforms, including CAF TV.
The draw is expected to attract particular interest across the continent as supporters assess their clubs’ opponents, potential away trips and prospects of reaching the knockout stages.
Once the balls are drawn in Cairo, the road to continental glory will become much clearer — and the serious business of the 2026/27 group stages will be ready to begin.
