Faïz Selemani, Rafiki Saïd and Ismaël Boura have returned to the Comoros squad for this month’s back-to-back Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Congo.
Coach Hubert Velud has also recalled Saïd Bakari and Anfane Saïd Djambae in a 24-player squad announced by CAF on Friday, 6 November.
The Coelacanths host Congo on Friday, 13 November, at 15:00 SAST. The return fixture follows on Tuesday, 17 November, at 21:00 SAST.
The two matches come after Comoros lost 3–1 to Cameroon in their opening qualifier. With Cameroon and Namibia also competing in Group G, the double-header gives Velud’s side two chances to take points directly off a group rival.
