Algeria coach Brahim Hemdani has handed Abderrahmane Rebbach and Mohamed Azzi their first senior call-ups for November’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Togo.

The pair feature in a 26-player squad for the Group I double-header. Rayan Aït-Nouri and goalkeeper Luca Zidane are among the absentees.

Algeria host Togo on Saturday, 14 November, at 21:00 SAST. The return fixture is scheduled for Tuesday, 17 November, at 18:00 SAST.

The two sides will meet on consecutive matchdays in a group that also includes Zambia and Burundi. Algeria lead the section after the opening two rounds, but the margin is narrow. Back-to-back games against the same opponent give Hemdani a chance to build that lead while introducing two newcomers to the senior squad.
