Catalá Names Final Warriors Squad for Equatorial Guinea AFCON Qualifiers

Zimbabwe coach Ramón Catalá has named his final 24-man Warriors squad for the back-to-back 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Equatorial Guinea.

Highlanders goalkeeper Aron Ngwenya has made the final selection, joining Martin Mapisa, Future Sibanda and Nelson Chadya among the four goalkeepers.

Scottland provide the biggest club representation with six players, including Chadya, Kelvin Moyo, Peter Muduhwa, Emmanuel Jalai, Abubakar Moffat and Mthokozisi Msebe.

The midfield includes experienced trio Marshall Munetsi, Marvellous Nakamba and Andy Rinomhota, while Jordan Zemura returns to strengthen the defence.

Up front, Catalá has selected Tawanda Chirewa, Tawanda Maswanhise, Bill Antonio, Daniel Msendami, Tinotenda Kadewere and Thando Ngwenya.

One notable omission is Knowledge Musona, who had been recalled to the earlier provisional squad but has not made the final 24.
