PSL Sends Condolences To Barker Family
The PSL, through its chairman Dr. Irvin Khoza, has sent condolences to the family of the late Clive Barker. A moment of silence is being observed at the ongoing PSL Promotion Playoffs in honour of the 1996 Africa Cup of Nations winning legendary coach.
“The Premier Soccer League (PSL) is deeply saddened by the passing of legendary former Bafana Bafana coach, Mr. Clive Barker. A moment of silence will be observed in his honour at both remaining Promotion Play-off fixtures (Saturday afternoon and Wednesday evening). The PSL sends heartfelt condolences to the Barker family, and the football fraternity at large. May his soul repose peacefully,” a statement from the PSL said.
Barker was well respected in football circles and will be deeply missed.
